BIO

Jonathan Green is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Manchester. He has devoted his scientific career to understanding the early clinical evolution of autism and, in the initial absence of any effective treatment, how outcome might be improved. He developed a therapeutic approach delivered by parents that reduces the severity of symptoms from 2-4 years of age for up to 6 years and can lessen the chance of developing autism in young infants with prodromal symptoms. Over the ensuing years, PACT has been adapted, trialled and implemented on a global scale and approved by national guidelines and the WHO.
